In January, I took time to reevaluate this newsletter and what I want it to be. It started as a curation of interesting civic design findings, but I realized that wasn't providing enough value to you, my subscribers. I don't want this to be inbox clutter—I want to share my personal thoughts on ideas I'm passionate about and highlight design work that deserves attention. So I'm shifting the approach, fewer lists and more of my perspective. I'll still share curated finds, but I'll explain why they matter and why they deserve your time.

You’ll also notice a small redesign. I’ve updated the masthead to reflect the current climate. The design remains clean and simple, but the new icon represents resistance and hope. Staying inspired is hard in bleak times, but design can unify us and drive progress.

Here’s to moving forward together. Whether you’re a designer, organizer, public servant, or believer in a better future, you’re in the right place. I’m grateful you’re here and excited to share this journey. Let’s keep creating, questioning, and building the world we want to see.
